Touching a Person’s Heart
This project aimed to touch one person’s heart through design. My focus was the Resident Assistant on my floor, whose warmth and hospitality I had deeply appreciated since moving into the dorm. Recognizing the heavy workload she balanced—both as an RA and a student—I wanted to create something thoughtful to uplift her. I designed tea packaging shaped like our dorm building, with illuminated windows on the 4th and 5th floors, representing her areas of responsibility. By pulling the ribbon on top, three carefully selected tea bags appear—each meant to help her relax and recharge. To make it even more personal, I printed her name and our dorm’s address on the side. Was she touched? Absolutely!
