Touching People’s Hearts
A project dedicated to connecting with people emotionally through design. For this, I chose to engage with dog owners at the dog run in Madison Square Park. I illustrated frame-like depictions of the park’s buildings, trees, and scenery, then used brush pens to create spontaneous dog portraits on-site. The process was messy—dogs jumped on me, and I ended up covered in drool—but the joy on the owners’ faces when they received their personalized dog portraits made it all worth it. Through this project, I saw firsthand how small, thoughtful gestures can create meaningful connections.
